UP 200

February 14 - February 18

Three sled dog races—the 230-mile UP 200, 90-mile Midnight Run and 26-mile Jack Pine 30—span the long weekend in and around the Lake Superior shore. The Friday evening start to the UP 200, an Iditarod-qualifying race, is a festive event that attracts thousands to downtown Marquette.
